Administrator - Public Sector - €26k
At Staffline Recruitment we currently have an exciting opportunity available with our client, a prominent Public Sector body with Dublin City Centre offices. They are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to join their team.
Working as part of a busy team, the purpose of these roles will be to provide Service Excellence to customers and colleagues by building a deep understanding of needs, requirements and expectations and consistently managing their expectations in a professional, courteous and respectful manner.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide financial administrative back up and support to all aspects of the Unit/Directorate
- Implement and maintain efficient & effective financial administrative systems and Data entry
- Prepare papers/information for meetings
- Assist with organisation of seminars, conferences and financial training sessions for beneficiaries/implementing bodies; participation in these as required
- Deal with and respond to internal/external queries and information requests, coordinating responses to Parliamentary Questions
- Develop/maintain effective information systems for internal and external communication
- Work on Cross-company projects as required and participate in the development of annual/special projects as they emerge during the implementation of aspects of the Directorate
- Issue periodic reporting templates to beneficiaries and ensure
- receipt & follow up as appropriate
- Ensure financial/non-financial data is correct and support beneficiaries in meeting monitoring requirements
- Monitor data (financial, impact, payroll ) submitted and notify errors or omissions to appropriate team members
Interested applicants will meet the following requirements:
- Relevant third level qualification (e.g. Certificate, Diploma) or accounting technician / recognised business qualification equivalent is essential
- Financial accounts/payroll and/or administration work experience/knowledge
- Strong organisational skills
- Computer literacy particularly in CRM systems, SharePoint, Quantum and MS packages g. Excel, WORD and Outlook
- A proven customer service ethos with strong relationship building skills across business teams and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of workings of the community/voluntary/public sector
- Enthusiastic, pragmatic and motivated approach with a "Can Do" attitude

This role will be offered as a contract basis initially until December 2021. A salary in region of €26,000 plus benefits will be payable to successful candidates.
