Staffline are currently recruiting for a Band 4 Assistant Operational Manager to work as part of the Domestic/Porter and Catering team within a busy Trust environment in Dundonald. The Operational Management team need to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness are achieved in their area of responsibility. We will only consider applicants with experience in this field.
This role will be for approximately 10-12 weeks, with possible extension. A full access NI clearance is required for this role.
Hours of work = 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (with some flexibility required)
The Post holder will organise and co-ordinate a range of Patient Experience activities including Catering, Domestic and Portering in their designated area of responsibility. They will provide Patient Experience services in a customer-focused manner ensuring delivery of appropriate quality services, which will achieve value for money within the delegated budget allocations.
A management qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent plus at least one year's recent suitable junior management experience within the provision of Patient Experience Services
Worked for at least three years in a junior management role where you have gained experience in a provision of Patient Experience Services
Level 2 in food safety
Demonstrate knowledge of Food Hygiene Legislation
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Ability to develop good working relationships with Officers in all grades and professions
Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
