HSEQ Officer

Belfast

£24,000

Staffline are recruiting for a HSEQ Officer to join a leading food manufacturer based in Belfast. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will ensure compliance with food quality and safety standards across the group.

Main duties will include;

• Carry out quality checks and maintain records
• Ensure all production tasks are carried out to exact quality specifications
• Inspect all incoming goods and paperwork
• Assist in customer and supplier audits
• Ensure that internal audits in relation to quality and health and safety are conducted on a regular basis
• Ensure the factory is always audit ready and maintain compliance with BRC, HACCP, Food Safety and Quality Standards
• Complete and update Risk Assessments for the site
• Carry out training for employees

Essential Criteria:

• Degree educated in a relevant discipline
• 2 year's experience with a food environment
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC and Health and Safety
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle

Desirable Criteria :

• HACCP Level 3
• Food Hygiene Level 4
• IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification
