Staffline recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Trade Counter Assistant to join our client's teams based in Dundalk Co. Louth. The successful candidate will need to come from a plumbing background have a good level of product knowledge within the industry.
The key Responsibilities of the role are:
- Serving customers politely and professionally at all times.
- Providing accurate and professional advice on products including specification, pricing and availability.
- Responding to sales enquiries and converting to new orders.
- Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationship.
- Contacting suppliers and ensuring smooth deliveries, following company procedures checking incoming goods against supplier's delivery notes.
- Storing stock safely and ensuring that the store is kept tidy and well presented.
- Helping to maintain the premises.
You will need to be:
- Enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Flexible and able to work well and stay calm under pressure.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 9AM to 5.00PM and Friday and every second Saturday 9/1PM
