Job description

Our client based on the border of County Fermanagh and County Cavan has a vacancy for an Accounts Administrator in their busy office

As the Accounts Administrator, your duties will include


  • Sales ledger
  • Purchase ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Customer invoicing and payments
  • Posting statements
  • Processing HMRC/ROS returns on line
  • Preparing information for the accountant
  • Processing payroll using Sage
  • Vat /PAYE /EC Sales/VIES returns
  • Credit Control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Produce monthly accounts reports
  • General office filing
  • Answering the telephone and monitoring e-mails
  • Dealing with customer enquiries.

Hours of work:

  • Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm

The ideal Accounts Administrator will have


  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Sage Payroll and Sage line 50
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as good organisational skills
