Job description

Staffline Recruitment are currently seeking Maternity Cover for an Accounts Administrator for a leading builders merchants in Belfast.

Rate of Pay: £9.75/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-1.00pm

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation, receipt and allocation of daily cash transactions
  • Receiving and allocating customer accounts payments
  • Preparation of bank lodgements
  • Maintenance of cash book and petty cash
  • Record any cash collected on daily cash collection schedule
  • Provide customers and clients with invoice copies and proof of delivery, when requested.
  • Provide administrative support to the branch credit controller and the wider company
  • Collect weekly invoices and proof of delivery for large customers as directed by branch credit controller
  • File delivery dockets & customer remittance
  • Monthly petty cash collection
  • Answer telephone and open post
  • Other ad hoc reporting when required


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts environment
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Self motivated and independent
  • Attention to detail
