Part time 25 hours per week (flexible)
Our City Centre based Client require a bookkeeper/ accounts assistant to join the team.
As accounts assistant you will have 2-3 years' or more experience in the use of a software such as Excel, Sage, Xero or Quickbooks and will carry out a refreshing mix of duties.
Typical functions will include VAT, PAYE, Bank reconciliations & accounts preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of end of year accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies
- You will carry out payroll duties
- Carry out preparation of VAT returns
- Analyse cheque journals
- You will carry out general administration duties as required
- Bring accounts to trial balance
- You will have experience of being in a similarly varied accounting role
- You will have 2-3 years' experience of VAT, Payroll, Accounts preparation etc...
- An accounting qualification such as IATI is highly desirable
