Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and based in our Head Office, Dundalk Ireland. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Monthly Intrastat/Vies/CSO Returns/TSS (Trader Support Service).
- Review month end suppler payment run.
- Process Monthly UK Payroll.
- Maintain Fixed Asset register.
- Manage of month end Prepayments/Accruals.
- Manage & Reconciling Intercompany accounts.
- Assist with Debtors as required- Processing of Customer credit notes (UK)
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data.
- Assist the Financial Controller with general finance related tasks.
- Reporting:
- Assist with monthly management meeting reporting.
- Budgeting & Variance Analysis Reporting.
- Produce Weekly Financial KPI Report. - Review margins.
- Assist with Cashflow reports.
The Candidate:
- 2+ Years Accounting Technician qualification or similar role
- Diligent with excellent attention to detail
- Able to multi-task and prioritise work effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - competence in Excel essential
- Previous payroll processing experience preferable- UK Payroll.
- Must be able to work efficiently to deadlines.
