Job description

General Tasks:

  • Event planning including the organisation of in-person and virtual workshops
  • Case study writing including script writing for video case studies
  • Sourcing exhibition and presentation opportunities
  • Seeking new companies to get involved in the Resource Matching Service
  • Maintaining relationships with our funders Invest Northern Ireland, members of the Resource Matching Service and councils
  • Creation of workshop reports, surveys and newsletters
  • Contribution to team meetings

Administrative Tasks:

  • Editing and reviewing reports (advisory visit reports and match reports) submitted by the practitioners
  • Preparation of monthly reports to Invest Northern Ireland's Energy and Resource Efficiency Manager.
  • Aiding the finance manager with managing post, timesheets and expenses
  • Scheduling company visits for the practitioners
  • Maintaining company records
  • Monitoring the office phone and passing on referrals to the practitioners
  • Monitoring the general enquiries email inbox

Marketing Tasks:

  • Social media management including creating content for LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • Promotion of the Resource Matching Service across the province through targeted email campaigns, factsheet creation and social media posting
  • Creation of articles for magazine features

Skills

Essential:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills including in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Enthusiasm for marketing

Desirable

  • Experience in marketing
  • Experience in event planning
  • Experience in the environmental/sustainability sector
  • Knowledge of MailChimp and SurveyMonkey
  • Experience in using Zoom and Microsoft Teams
