Administrative Assistant - Lisburn

The Client: Local government body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.
- Assisting with the creation and planning of civic events including undertaking research, monitoring of expenditure, compilation of guest lists (attending meetings with the Mayor, Head of Service, Civic Events Officer), producing databases of responses to invitations, creating/updating action lists, design and produce brochures/booklets, research for programmes, running orders, ordering and booking goods and services, liaising with Lord Lieutenants, MPs, MLAs and public bodies. Compiling guest lists, programme booklets, ordering and arranging goods and services and attendance at the events. Undertaking duties assigned on the day of the event and making on the spot decisions as they arise
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: 37hrs per week
- It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:
5 GCSE passes at Grade A-C, or an NVQ Level 2
- A minimum of three years' general clerical/administrative experience to include word processing experience and co-ordination of a range of events
- Rates of pay £11.50 per hour
