Administrative Assistant, Part-Time, Holywood

Salary: £9.17/hours

Hours of Work: 16 hours per week

Staffline Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an Administrative Assistant for our client based in Holywood on a part time permanent basis.

Set upon a 100 acre estate our client offers a therapeutic setting within a calm and nurturing environment with the aim of providing opportunities to service users and employees to meet their full potential.

Purpose of the Job:

The post holder will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Social Care Department. The individual will be responsible for maintaining records, processing confidential data and completing ad hoc administrative work. They will also be responsible for answering and directing calls and on occasions covering reception.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide general support and assistance to managers, deputies and on occasions group leaders.
  • Preparation and maintenance of existing summary incident reports and processing and recording incident reports to ensure compliance with all policies.
  • Maintaining accurate and secure records of service users' information.
  • General typing and filing duties.
  • Attend meetings, take notes and issue minutes and prepare accurate reports as required.
  • Meet and greet visitor's and staff and provide hospitality as required.
  • Any other administrative duties as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Business Administration OR 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) to include a minimum Level 'C' grade in English Language and Maths. (Any applicants that do not meet these qualifications but have 4 years' experience in a similar role, this criteria will be waived)
  • With NVQ Level 3; at least 6 months experience working in an office environment.
  • With 5 GCSEs; a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar post.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the MS Office package.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Diploma in Office Administration.
  • 6 months relevant administrative experience.
  • ECDL qualification.
