ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER|

Are client based in Malahide requires an Assistant Bar Manager that will report to and liaise with the Bar Manager to ensure the smooth running of a Lounge Bar & Function Catering Business. Supported by a friendly & knowledgeable team, the Assistant Bar Manager should be passionate & enthusiastic, enjoy serving and interacting with our customers and will add to the warm and welcoming environment which our customers have come to expect.

THE ROLE|

• Responsible for coordinating the smooth running of the premises by maintaining the standards and ensuring all staff follow guidelines and procedures.
• A natural leader, who will guarantee the team is always well trained and informed to meet the standards expected.
• Takes overall responsibility for guest and staff satisfaction, by managing the Lounge & Function Bar operations.

REQUIREMENTS|

• Minimum 2 experience in a similar role. (Function experience is an advantage but not essential)
• A team player and be fully involved in every aspect of service.
• Ability to develop and help other members of staff learn new skills and grow within the company
• Ability to deliver high standards and consistency at all times.

KEY FUNCTIONS|

• Provide an approachable welcoming atmosphere within the bar and between staff and customers
• Oversee stock and quality control
• Ability to manage busy weekend Function events
• Must display leadership in service bringing energy, creativity, consistency, and a great work ethic to the bar.
• Organised, flexible and proactive to achieve and improve standards
• Good problem-solving skills.

SALARY & WORK HOURS|

• Salary between 30-35K per year.
• 40 Hours a week, including some weekends.
