Job description

MAIN DUTIES

  1. Develop and maintain a working relationship with the caravanners in order to offer a quality service on the site, and an attractive holiday experience.
  1. Accept and record bookings on booking system, take relevant fee and issue receipts.
  2. Record arrivals and departures on computerised booking system.
  3. Ensure that Council's property is adequately safeguarded.
  4. Ensure that no public health nuisance is caused.
  5. Deal with any complaints, which may arise.
  6. Any other duties relevant to the operation of a Holiday Park as requested by the Warden.
  7. Carry out duties on any other Council Holiday Park if required.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

Essential - at least 6 months experience of

  1. Management of staff.
  2. Working in an office based setting.
  3. Administrative type work to include evidence of computer literacy.
  4. Cash handling.
  5. Experience of dealing with the public in a polite and effective manner.

  1. Effective communication skills.
  2. Available on all dates specified including weekends, Bank and Public Holidays.
  3. Willing to work flexible hours which will be between 9am and 9pm on a rota basis.

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of on-line caravan booking and management systems.
  2. Full driving licence.
