Part-Time Band 3 Administrative Support required for a large public sector organisation based through the Belfast Trust.
Location: Musgrave Park Hospital
Pay Per Hour: £11.67

JOB SUMMARY/MAIN PURPOSE:
The post holders will be required to provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to include word processing and diary management as required to the Volunteer Services Team. The post holder may also be the first point of contact for members of the public making enquiries about the Volunteer Services both in person and by telephone.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake a range of Admin support duties including, making appointments, maintaining diaries, receiving, processing and distrusting incoming mail, personally dealing with routine items, provision of typing and admin support to the Volunteer Team.
- Co-ordinate and process a range of correspondence in accordance with procedures regarding the recruitment, selection and placement of volunteers, assisting with administration of relevant reference requests, POCVA checks and occupational health checks for prospective volunteers.
- Produce and maintain Volunteer files.
- Deal with incoming/outgoing mail and ensure that mail is distributed and redirected appropriately to relevant staff in a timely manner.
- Arrange and attend meetings, taking minutes, typing and distribution of same.
- Such other duties as appropriate.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
4 GCSE is at grade C or above to include English Language or equivalent qualification and one year's administrative/clerical experience
or
NVQ Level II in Administration and one year's administrative/clerical experience
or
A minimum of two year's administrative/clerical experience and GCSE in English Language at grade C or equivalent
RSA/OCR Stage 2 Typing/Word Processing ( Parts 1&2)
or
equivalent qualification or have six months word processing experience OR Minute taking experience
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent
