Staffline Recruitment has been appointed as HSCNI's recruitment partner of choice for Admin, clerical and Support Services.

BELSL / Band 3 Administrator

Rate of Pay: £10.09phr

Location: Belfast Wellington Park

Hours: 16hrs per week

Duration: 6 weeks with possible extension

Job Summary:

To assist and provide support to Band 4 Administrative staff in terms of delivering a high quality admin service. Providing a welcoming and professional service to all clients and staff in addition to a range of administrative duties to support effective and efficient operations within the Student Mental Health Service.


Ensure that all clients and staff are treated with courtesy and their requests are dealt with efficiently, escalating queries/issues to the Team Leader or other as appropriate

Ensure compliance with BHSCT and HSC Data Protection and Personal Information Acts and Policies

Ensure effective communication across all disciplines

At all times provide a caring service and to treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner

Maintain high standards of personal accountability

Be responsible for collating information databases on Excel.

Responding to telephone enquiries as well as taking and relaying messages as appropriate

Scheduling appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining diaries/calendar electronically

Work as part of a wider team of staff providing cover for reception duties upon request

Maintenance of general filing systems

Operation of computerised information system

Photocopying duties

Distributing incoming and out coming mail

Liaising with team and other departments / agencies

Support Band 4 administration with dictation duties when needed

Qualifications & Experience:

*4 GCSE's at grade C or above to include English Language or equivalent qualification and 1 year's clerical/administration experience. or *NVQ Level II in Administration and 1year's clerical/administration experience. or *A minimum of three year's

Knowledge & Skills:

Good communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team The flexibility to work in a changing environment.
