Band 5 Corporate Business Officer
The Client: Local Healthcare body based in Armagh, serving local residents.
The Corporate Business Officer will provide business support to specific Committees of the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) including the Southern Local Commissioning Group (LCG), the Southern Pharmacy Practices Committee (PPC) and the Southern Premises Committee. The post-holder will be responsible for monitoring compliance with legislation and HSCB Standing Orders. The Corporate Business Officer will provide secretariat support to Board and Committee Meetings and Senior Management Team meetings as and when required. The Corporate Business Officer will be responsible for the provision of an effective corporate business support to the Local Commissioning Group Chair and Members. The Corporate Business Officer will support the Corporate Business Manager in the daily operational management of the Local Office and in addressing all facility management issues. The Corporate Business Officer will be responsible for the line management of Corporate Business staff.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Must have a University degree or relevant professional qualification.
1 year's experience in a role involving staff management, servicing of Committee meetings and a working knowledge of corporate governance and facilities management issues including health and safety, fire safety and security
A minimum of 4 years' experience in a role involving staff management, servicing of Committee meetings and a working knowledge of corporate governance and facilities management issues including health and safety, fire safety and security
Have a minimum of 1 year's experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
Experience of servicing Board Meetings or Committees of the Board.
