Job description
Role: Band 5 Governance Officer
Rate of Pay: £13.84 per hour
Location: Antrim
Hours: 37.5 hrs
Duration: Temporary
Main duties:
- To provide daily operational support of the RMMRS and Governance Systems across services in the Trust.
- Produce high quality information and analysis to support the effective monitoring and measurement of Key Performance Indicators and other management reports and targets.
- To provide expert systems advice to managers, clinicians and other professionals as required.
- To facilitate and provide training on the RMMRS and Governance Systems as and when required, keep up-to-date on any developments within the system. Maintain training records in respect of requests for training and training completed.
- Work closely with the NIECR team and system suppliers in logging, tracking, and resolution of system faults and performance issues.
- Auditing data quality to ensure that the correct procedures and systems are in place to enable consistency and accuracy in the capturing and recording of information including follow up with stakeholders regarding queries and issues. Developing a suite of reports to support the Data Quality function.
- To contribute and progress any recommendations made as a result of Audits conducted internally or externally in relation to RMMRS and Governance Systems.
- To disseminate information and guidance pertaining to any changes that might occur around the RMMRS process and Governance Systems.
- To maintain lists of consultant staff, and subsequently M&M teams, liaising with the ECR Team regarding access to the system.
- To assist managers and front line staff supporting them to become more involved in the M&M process.
- Be the Trust's main point of contact internally and externally, in particular the DoH and GRO.
- The post holder will also be required to work in conjunction with/provide cover for the Assurance Data Support Officer/System Manager; this will include attendance at meetings and the provision of high quality information and analysis to support the Assurance Framework within the Trust.
- Collate, analyse, interpret and presenting high quality information.
Essential Criteria:
Degree in an ICT Discipline, Mathematics, Business Studies, Finance or other discipline where there is an element of Information or ICT
plus
1 years' practical experience in the extraction, presentation and analysis of data and in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes (or equivalent) such as Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint. The preparation of reports for Senior Staff either internal/external.
OR
HND/HNC in an ICT Discipline, Mathematics, Business Studies, Finance or other discipline where there is an element of Information or ICT
plus
2 years' practical experience in the extraction, presentation and analysis of data and in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes (or equivalent) such as Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint. The preparation of reports to Senior Staff either internal/external.

4 years' practical experience in the extraction, presentation and analysis of data and in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes (or equivalent) such as Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint. The preparation of reports to Senior Staff either internal/external.
