Job description

Staffline are currently recruiting for one of our Public Sector clients in central Belfast for an experienced Functional Specialist. This is a Band 7 level role with a 6 month temporary contract. The Role

The ideal candidate will be able to identify initiatives to improve services, improve service quality and customer satisfaction and improvement in cost efficiency of services through monitoring of Shared Service Centre (SSC) performance in relation to service standards. The Functionalist Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of Business As Usual (BAU) solution improvements operations in accordance with governance arrangements. He/she will be responsible for leading and managing the strategic plan for solution improvements.

Experience

Candidates must have:

a) One of the following qualifications: -

BTEC Higher National Diploma (Business) - A Degree - Professional Qualification AND Have 3 years' experience in a solution improvement supervisory level

OR b) Five years' experience in a solution improvement supervisory level AND Extensive experience of the development/design of Solution Improvement processes and procedures underpinned by IT

Skills and Abilities

Ability to plan workload, defining objectives, achieving deadlines and implementing action plans etc

Experience of managing/leading a large team to deliver results within a target driven environment, planning workloads, defining objectives, achieving deadlines and implementing action plans etc.

Experience of IT systems particularly using Solution Improvement systems to create management information

Have worked with a diverse range of customers, both internal and external to the organisation, to achieve successful outcomes.

Experience of the development/design of Solution Improvement processes and procedures

Demonstrable track record of strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills in order to meet the needs of the post.

Demonstrate evidence of personal responsibility for achieving significant measurable improvements, at an organisational level, across a range of management activities.
