Job description

Brand Manager

Staffline Ireland are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company for a Brand Manager. The Brand Manager will create and design promotional activities with imagination and creativity, setting the direction for how the brands will grow. Duties include building brand identities, generating marketing and collection presentation material that resonate with both the customer and consumer.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion company with expertise while ensuring brand integrity is established and maintained.
  • Plan, implement, and execute successful consumer and trade marketing programs for launch.
  • Contributes to annual brand planning process.
  • Drives creative development of all brands.
  • Works with the new product marketing team to set a brand planning calendar, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Works closely with trade Brand Manager to maintain a continuous brand presence following product launches through retail and social media strategies.
  • Develop Group brands/ companies brand presence.
  • Conceive and develop product lifestyle photography to brands determining an exact brief to cover various mediums.
  • Represent the company and provide support as needed at various trade shows.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of the Marketing department and Group.
  • Create the brand identities that will determine and deliver the strategic brand direction.
  • Work alongside Designers and Marketing Manager to create a clear marketing identity for each brand.
  • Continually devise new, creative concepts and ideas to present marketing material for product re-launch to ensure brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Carry out sales analysis of each brand to analyse promotional effectiveness and report to Directors accordingly.
  • Production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits or other promotional material and their distribution when required, including copy writing and print management.
  • Copy writing and proof reading of all marketing literature, brochures, press releases, editorials.
  • Website development, content management, social networking profile management, ensuring timely updating as required.
  • Carry out research within associated trade sectors and reporting on findings and on market trends i.e. interior design trends and colours and feedback to the marketing department accordingly.
  • Collate and report on competitor information, specifically on new products.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

Essential Criteria:

  • Third Level Qualification in Marketing or related subject
  • 3 year's commercial Brand Management within FMCG environment
  • Experience of leading branding projects from conception through to market launch and analysis
  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple brands
  • Experience in Digital Marketing
  • Demonstrable experience of working on simultaneous marketing projects
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Creative and imaginative
  • Accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, particularly PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Ability to work on own initiative

Desirable Criteria:

  • Graduate Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
  • Background in interiors or soft furnishings
  • People Management experience
  • Use of Adobe Illustrator or design packages
