Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: East Coast of Ireland

Hours of Work: 37.5

Staffline Recruitment is one of the largest recruitment companies in Ireland and we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Business Development Executive to join our team. We would like to hear from you if you are driven and are interested in working in a fast paced environment.

The Role

This exciting new role has arisen due to the continued expansion of our business across the Republic of Ireland. The Business Development Executive will support the Company's Sales and Expansion strategy; focusing upon the maintenance and growth of existing and new markets. You will identify new opportunities, building effective relationships with local business, governmental and community sectors in order to deliver sustainable volume growth.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new business sales plans, pipelines and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives
  • Identify new tender opportunities in ROI and assist with responses
  • Regular prospective and client visits, delivering high quality, confident presentations and proposals
  • Preparation of periodic sales reports in respect of sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Assesses and highlights associated new commercial business risks
  • Acts as an effective ambassador for the business, e.g. at networking events, conferences and exhibitions, in order to enhance and strengthen the company's profile and optimise all business development opportunities

Essential Criteria

  • Strong B2B sales experience with proven success
  • Minimum 5 years direct business development/sales experience
  • Demonstrable success in building and maintaining effective business relationships at a senior level
  • Creation of a sales/employment pipeline within the recruitment industry, or similar high volume/margin sensitive industry
  • Proven achievement of exceeding targets and closing new business opportunities
  • Evidence of developing/presenting confident sales and marketing pitches
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - develops rapport quickly
  • Leaving Certificate or above
  • Full, clean driving licence

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of sales strategies and recent employment and recruitment trends in the Republic of Ireland
  • Commercial awareness of pricing strategies in relation to tender pipeline opportunities
  • Market share knowledge of recruitment, skills, employability and related sectors across Ireland
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Business or Marketing degree
