Our client, are seeking to recruit a Cabinet Maker to join their existing team, based at their site in Co Fermanagh

The Role:

As a Cabinet Maker you will:

• Operate woodworking machines to cut / rip timber as per drawings and/or cutting lists.
• Operate portable electric saws to cut / rip timber as per drawings and/or cutting lists.
• Assemble kitchens
• Apply varnishes or other coatings to timber as necessary.
• Off-load deliveries of timber into storage racks within the joinery workshop.
• Ensure safe stacking and handling of timber and board within the workshop.
• Adhere to Company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times, wearing specified PPE and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisors/managers commensurate with the job

Requirements:

The suitable Cabinet Maker will possess the following -

• Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job
• Previous experience in operating woodworking machines.
• Proficient in measuring and cutting of timber.
• Adherence to and appreciation for H&S and general housekeeping standards
• Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
• Reliable
• Works well on own initiative and as part of a team

Hours of work:

• 8:30am - 5:30pm Mon - Thurs, 8:30am - 5:00pm Friday
