Chemical Engineer| Graduate Role | Contract | Dublin 24

The Client: Based in Dublin South, our client is a leading manufacturer with a global presence. They are seeking to appoint a graduate Chemical Engineer to join their Pilot Plant. In this role, the successful candidate will take responsibility for developing new processes and assisting with driving process improvements across operations.

This is a fixed-term contract role for 1 year and there is a possibility that the role will be extended, depending on business requirements.

The key areas of responsibility will include:

• Leading the scale-up of new processes in an efficient and effective manner
• Support process improvement initiatives, improving exiting processes cost saving optimisation
• Problem solving for manufacturing plants
• To scout for, test and actively propose innovative manufacturing processes
• To support technology and process support for major projects

Experience/Skills required:

• Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering/Chemistry
• Some practical and relevant professional experience required in this field
• Initiative, drive, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills required
• Ability to communicate well at all levels including customers and internal departments
• Excellent team working skills
