Job description
Staffline Recruitment are welcoming applications for a Part Time Cleaning Assistant role based in Cork City. Our client operates several accommodation sites in the city and are looking forward to hearing from you!! Hours are mainly 3 x 7 hour shifts per week.
General Purpose
To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for all sites operated by our client.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and public areas
- clean metal fixtures and fittings
- empty and clean bins containers and conduct rubbish pick-up of the complex
- respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
- report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements
- clean offices on a weekly basis
- prepare apartment and common areas for site visits/open days
- assist with basic maintenance if required
- respond to fire alarms as part of company policy
- clean wash basins, mirrors, and showers
- wipe down glass surfaces
- make up beds and change linen as required
- follow all company safety and security procedures
- attend any training as requested by management
- complete all other duties as assigned
- sanitise in line with current Covid-19 protocols
Knowledge and Experience
- knowledge of cleaning and cleaning products., techniques and methods
- physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- ability to lift, push and pull required load.
