Clerical Officer
Lisburn
Temporary
The Client: Local public body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.
The Role:
- To provide administrative support in the area as directed by the Finance Manager to include filing, opening and distribution of post (both internal and external).
- Maintenance and reconciliation of stationery stock levels and carrying out all relevant administrative duties related to ordering.
- To undertake general typing and clerical duties for the Head of Service and the Finance Manager.
- The maintenance and data input to computer systems e.g. databases, spreadsheets etc.
- Assisting with the provision of an efficient customer service and dealing with written enquiries and telephone calls from the public as required in accordance with the Councils Customer Care Standards.
- Assisting with the development, implementation and maintenance of office systems and procedures.
Hours of work: 37hrs per week
Requirements:
It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:
QUALIFICATIONS
1.1 - 5 GCSE passes as grade A-C, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
1.2 - One year's relevant experience
Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined in 1.1 above, they must demonstrate a minimum of three years' experience as outlined in 1.2 above.
Rate of pay: £10.60 per hour
