COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER | DUBLIN CITY CENTRE | PERMANENT

Our client based in Dublin City Centre, has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to join their team on a permanent basis. They are searching for the new team member to join their Commercial Team where they will be responsible for completing business development and gaining new business. There is a fantastic salary and benefits including opportunities for additional training and career progression on offer. This position includes a hybrid working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

• Handling & processing renewals.
• Advising clients on most suitable cover & identifying further cross sell opportunities.
• Researching insurance markets and negotiating with insurers to obtain the most suitable & competitive client quotations.
• Monitor workloads to ensure prompt and efficient service to existing and new customers
• Develop prospect pipeline
• Ensure all activities/processes meet with Company's requirements for quality control, compliance, work practices and customer service
• Meet financial and other KPI's as directed
• Handling mid-term alterations.
• Manage aged debt.
• Comply with all relevant compliance legislation.

REQUIREMENTS |

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• CIP Qualified with proof of up to date CPD
• Familiar with Applied (relay) system and operate proficiently
• Sound technical product knowledge and knowledge of the general insurance market.
• Full clean driving licence
