Staffline Recruitment are currently looking for an enthusiastic Conference & Events Executive to oversee and co-ordinate meetings and events from conception through to completion for one of our Clients. The successful candidate will be adept at providing excellent customer service and organising memorable moments that exceed expectations.
What will this role involve?
- Responding, coordinating and tracking sales enquiries, bookings and availability
- Meet prospective clients for weddings, private and corporate functions
- Ensure a prompt and professional response and follow up on sales enquiries
- Generate quotations for prospective bookings and timely follow ups
- Coordinating with the operations team in relation to existing and new bookings
- Monitor, coordinate and communicate event bookings, ensuring accuracy of billing information
What will you need?
- Knowledge of room set ups, menu planning, food presentation, wedding, banquet and event service operations
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong presentation and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language
- Knowledge of the Opera software system, a distinct advantage
