Job description

Grafton Procurement and Supply, Belfast are delighted to have partnered with a global professional firm that operates in the financial, energy and commodities markets. My client have invested heavily in Belfast operations and are now seeking to appoint a Contracts Administrator to work in the Sourcing and Vendor management division. This is a permanent job which has arisen due to internal promotion and is ideal for those with experience in contracts / procurement administration who want to develop.

As Contracts Administrator, it will be your job to maintain the central contract management system for the business. You willl globally engage with business and stakeholders to find contracts that might not be recorded, updating the renewal tracker accordingly. You will ensure that all sources of data are captured, maintaining and developing the contract renewal tracker. You will work with category leads, ensuring they are aware of up and coming 3rd party contracts that need to be renewed. Additional contract adminstration duties to be disucssed.

The Contracts Administrator will support category managers in preparing tender documents and analysing financial proposas. In addition you will run low value/risk RFP's and negotiate same.

In order to be successful, you should have previous experience in a similar role. You should hold CIPS certification or working towards it or wanting to work towards it. Proficiency in Excel required, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. The successful Contracts Administrator should have the ability to read and understand a contract.
