Credit Control Executive - €40k

At Staffline Recruitment we are seeking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable Credit Control Executive to join an established team based in Dublin 24. This company is a market leader in their field and a genuinely great place to work!

This position will be offered as a 12 month contract with a strong possibility of permanency being offered upon completion of the contract. A salary in the region of €40,000 will be payable, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will use their organisational and relationship building skills to make a true impact on the business. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a commercial Debtors Ledger
  • Account reconciliation and payment allocation
  • Maintaining overdue balances to a satisfactory level
  • Following up with customers in relation to outstanding accounts
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Processing new account applications
  • Investigating of credit claims
  • Follow company processes and procedures with regards to collection and escalation
  • Monitor and review with Management high risk accounts, engage and work collectively across teams to reduce overdue debt
  • Reconcile complex accounts and with excellent attention to detail
  • Monitor and action credit limits inhouse with the appropriate personnel

Applicants will meet the following requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in Credit Control
  • A sound understanding of the end-to-end accounts receivable process
  • Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail
  • Professional, friendly approach to clients
  • Appropriate level of negotiation skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision but have a willingness to be part of a team environment and help others in the team when required
  • A "can-do attitude" and flexibility to meet the demands of the business
