Job description

  • Role Responsibilities:

    • Greeting and engaging with customers on banking hall floor - enquiring as to their needs
    • Guiding customers to the appropriate self-service options - mobile app, internet banking and kiosks. Directing to Teller/Customer Service if required
    • Handling basic queries and complaints - directing to senior staff as required
    • Engaging with customers using iPads, updating customer information and sales needs
    • Identifying sales opportunities, handing over to suitable staff as required
    • Cash handling - processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements at Teller as required. Responsible for balancing cash at end of day and managing levels throughout the day

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Customer Service experience, high standard of service and demonstrated awareness of the importance of same
    • Resilient and hard-working - busy work environment
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work as part of a team in a busy branch
    • An ability to adapt to new technologies, using our digital platforms to enable customers to self-serve
