Customer Services Assistant



The Client: Local Government body based in Newry, serving local residents.

The Role:

  • To provide clerical, reception and secretarial support as allocated
  • To deliver a high level of customer service at all times

Hours of work: shift work


  • Possess at least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, to include English Language
  • Have at least 1 years experience in a secretarial/receptionist/customer service role carrying out a range of business support activities
  • Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access


  1. Excellent planning and organisational skills
  2. Ability to work under pressure of multiple deadlines
  3. Delivery of high quality work with excellent attention to detail
  4. A strong customer orientation

Rate of Pay: £9.25 per hour
