Design Engineer

Lisburn

Up to £35,000 depending on experience

An excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join an innovative industry leading manufacturer based in their Lisburn facility. Reporting to the Design Manager your main duties will include:

• The provision of design and development support to the Company, from design conception stage through to final production
• Development of manufacturing drawings in accordance with standards to accompany work instructions and quotations
• Production of detailed written work instructions for the manufacture and installations of products
• Actively participate in the continuous Quality improvement process, and lean manufacturing strategies
• Evaluate new materials, manufacturing techniques and processes

Essential Criteria

• Degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
• 1 years' experience in a design role
• Strong working knowledge of ProEngineer
• Experience gained in the automotive sector
• Experience of Catia V5
