Despatch Manager



An excellent opportunity for a Despatch Manager to join a leading local manufacturing company that ship across the UK, Ireland and America. Reporting to the Operations Manager your main duties will include:

  • Excellent product knowledge to check orders are correctly packaged
  • Manage despatch area
  • Despatch orders using the warehouse management system
  • Organise collection & delivery with couriers
  • Complete export documents & associated administrative duties
  • Pick & pack orders
  • Load & unload lorries & containers
  • Liaise with Production Manager for schedule

Essential Criteria

  • 3 years' experience in a similar despatch role
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience in leading a team would be desirable
