Digital Marketing Executive - Charity

At Staffline Recruitment we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join a large national charity with a high profile.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the development and implementation of the digital marketing strategy, improving brand awareness and creating successful campaigns to reach digital supporters all over the country. The role involves coordinating all social media content for online platforms, maximising supporter engagement and continual optimisation while also collaborating with the fundraising team on campaigns running online and offline simultaneously.

This is a permanent post and the successful applicant will have the option to work remotely. Salary offered be commensurate to experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creation and delivery of the social media content calendar for all digital platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.) to include the scheduling of activity, selection of imagery, layout and design, in line with agreed plans and approved
  • A proven track record maximising SEO to grow organic searches, analysing and measuring traffic flow, remarketing and website content management
  • Digital analytics and reporting experience using various tools and metrics for monthly reporting g. ROI, CTR, Bounce Rates, Unique visits, Ranking etc.
  • Planning of successful email marketing campaigns (using Mailchimp or similar) to improve open rates and conversions, analysing and reporting back on
  • Experience using CRM systems, maximising the use of Google AdWords and providing monthly reports
  • Working cross-functionally, communicating with various sections about upcoming events and the sourcing of copy/images for use across all platforms
  • Working closely with the PR Manager on the digital strategy, news stories, campaigns and various events and initiatives
  • Assisting with other duties, administrative support and occasional out-of-hours work at weekends at various events as necessary to provide effective support when required
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, maintaining confidentiality and following policies and procedures at all

Interested applicants will meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience working in a similar role
  • Degree or equivalent required in a digital marketing discipline
  • A proven track record maximising SEO, Google AdWords and Analytics, Remarketing, Webmaster and experience using Adobe Photoshop/Canva or other similar photo/video editing Graphic design is an advantage
  • You will be a highly motivated self-starter, customer-focused and passionate with an ability to work autonomously on own workload
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good multi-tasker to be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent copywriting and ability to spot a 'good story/opportunity' an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and a flair for creativity desirable
