Our client, a leading manufacturing company, has a vacancy for an Electrical Instrumentation Engineer at their site in Co Cavan.

They are constantly evolving through technical innovation, and they are now at the forefront of providing pioneering, cost effective, construction solutions designed to meet the needs of any construction project.

The Role:

As the Electrical Instrumentation Engineer, you will be required to carry out a variety of duties to include;

• Assisting in the development and implementation of operational procedures for the maintenance and calibration of equipment

• Carrying out all electrical calibrations and maintenance across the Plant to ensure that all equipment is maintained in adequate working order.

• Carrying out fault diagnosis and test, inspect, and complete repairs on specialised equipment such as robotics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, research instrumentation, and be familiar with PLC's and converter drives.

• Working alongside the Purchasing department you will ensure there is an adequate supply of spare parts.

Hours of work:

• Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30pm, Fri 8am - 5pm
• 42hrs per week

Requirements:

The successful Electrical Instrumentation Engineer, will possess the following

• Qualified Electrician

• Relevant industry experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Flexible and demonstrate knowledge of health & safety

• Meet the physical and health requirements of the role.
