Staffline Ireland are currently seeking on behalf of their client for Engineers - Innovation & Planning

The Innovation & Planning function comprises highly skilled professionals with backgrounds in engineering and business/commerce.
This is an excellent opportunity for innovative, solution-focused, resilient and motivated individuals to join our clients team and play a key role in the transition in their future goals.

Role Description:

We have a number of roles based in Dublin for Engineers. Successful applicants will demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment and will have the following responsibilities:
* You will deliver on a range of technical and commercial projects designed to achieve regulated targets and meet stakeholder needs in line with company requirements.
* You will support the achievement of Innovation & Plannings objectives to deliver on our clients role and strategy by working colloquially and providing assistance as required or directed.
* You will prepare written and verbal reports for internal and external audiences.
* You will approach problem solving with an innovative mind set, being open to a wide range of solutions.
* We'll also look to you as to stay up to date with national and international developments in your area.
* We will expect you to focus on seeking ways to continuously improve the way we work to make it more efficient and effective as well as transparent and easy to understand for non-technical audiences.
* You will perform all work to a high standard with a focus on on-time delivery.
* Some, but not all, of these roles require the successful applicant to carry out technical analysis to a high degree of accuracy. (This can be discussed in more detail once cv is submitted)
* Some, but not all, of these roles require the successful applicant to support the delivery of strategic projects, ensuring that appropriate project controls are in place regarding budgets, schedule, quality, risk, change management and activity monitoring.
Most importantly, you'll need to be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders, and also be able to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Engineering degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
* Self-motivation, enthusiasm and capable of delivering in the context of changing parameters/requirements.
* Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Passionate, engaging with a drive and enthusiasm to deliver on the company vision and strategy.
* Ability to conceive and introduce innovative ideas, solutions or new ways of doing things to solve business problems, collaborating with business experts along the way.
* You will need to have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills along with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, while also being able to define and guide your own work under minimal supervision.
* Some, but not all, of these roles require programme management experience with a proven track record of project delivery.
Desirable:
* For some roles, experience using power systems analysis software is desirable.
