Job description

FINANCIAL ANALYST

I am urgently looking to speak to Senior Financial Analysts with experience of Oracle Financials/Oracle EBS. The successful candidate will perform a critical role within IT & Finance within this global organisation in County Armagh. This is an excellent role with the potential for growth and provides the opportunity to deliver IT capabilities that enable the organisation's finance teams to achieve excellence in controls, processes and service delivery whilst driving business analytics, talent development, and financial efficiency.

The role:

  • Compiling Competitor Earnings Analytics and Insights to spot risks, identify opportunities, and turn insights into actions
  • Conduct Spans and Layers Analysis
  • Evaluate procedures and processes associated with Insights and Tariff Tracking Plans
  • Assist the Human Resources Department with reporting
  • Manage iExpense reporting
  • Conduct Travel Analysis
  • Project Management of Strategic Sourcing Tool
  • Supporting key stakeholders by providing expertise in mathematical modelling and quantitative techniques that translate data into actionable information
  • Building finance models with clear data visualisations and insightful commentary to stakeholders which include senior management
  • Report on KPI performance including detailed variance analysis reporting, ensuring data integrity and resulting interpretation
  • Lead and support implementation of new system functionality

Key skills:

  • Self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-moving environment where the ability to deliver is paramount
  • A solid experience in data analysis and research functions
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information based on solid research and to tailor messages for audiences at all levels in the organization, including the executive leadership team
  • Financial awareness and be able to assess the commercial viability of data analysis and research
  • Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel
  • Knowledge of data quality measurements methodology and reporting tools
  • Action orientated and superior attention to detail; the ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently as well as in fast paced, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent listening, communication and relationship skills
