Fish Counter Manager

The Client : Our Client is a leading supplier of fresh and frozen seafood to the catering and retail trades throughout N Ireland. An exciting new business opportunity has arisen for the company to operate a fresh fish counter, on a concession basis.

The Person: The Fish Counter Manager will be the driver in making this the most successful fish counter in Lisburn. They will be responsible for the day to day running of the counter and leading the Team by example to provide an outstanding level of service and attention to customers.

Essential Criteria :

Must have previous experience of working in a retail environment with a strong emphasis on building sales and delivering results.

Must be commercially aware and able to deliver an acceptable gross margin.

Must have a great personality and committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Must have had at least 12 months experience leading, managing and motivating a Team.

Must be passionate about fish and have a flair for identifying new sales opportunities in response to customer needs.

Must be aware of HACCP and Health & Safety requirements.

Desirable Criteria :

Previous experience of working on a fish or butchery counter.

Basic fish filleting or knife handling skills.

Previous experience in product development or working with menu recipes.

Level 2 Food Safety certificate in Retail.A knowledge of fish.

In Return:

Pay Rate £10.20 per hour plus bonus opportunity

Hours of work:

Must be fully flexible and able to work evening and weekend shifts
