Staffline Recruitment is currently looking for General Operatives for our client door manufacturer based in Ballymena.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 6:30am - 4:45 pm

Job Title: Operator

Reporting to: Team Leader / Direct Supervisor / Production Manager

Basic Job Function: To carry out production according to the request of Team Leader / Supervisor

Overall Responsibility for: Production

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure you comply with all the relevant Health & Safety policies at all times.

2. Ensure your work is completed to the high quality standard as set out by the Company for the relevant processes being completed.

3. Ensure that all daily production goals are met within your area and work to correct target date. These will change as improvements are made to processes and these will be communicated to you by your Team Leader / Supervisor.

4. Ensure that housekeeping standards are fulfilled by you and your team at all times - specifically that your area complies with these at shift handover.

5. Ensuring good communications between you and your Team Leaders / Supervisor.

6. Ensure you are ready to start work at the beginning of each shift and comply with all breaks up to and including end of shift process. Ensure that you stay at your station and do not leave without notifying your Team Leader / Supervisor. Any issues with Stock / Equipment should be communicated to your Team Leader / Supervisor.

7. Providing an example of best operating practice to all other personnel in your area.

8. Ensure that your Station is set up for the oncoming shift and all housekeeping standards are met.

9. Ensure all issues are reported on a timely basis to your Team Leader / Supervisor and corrective actions are put in plan

Essential criteria:

Manufacruring experience

Ability to use tools

Ability to reading drawings
