Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, has a vacancy for a Graduate Mechanical / Electrical Engineer at their site in Co Cavan.

The company has been operating since the 1970's and they are an integral part of the larger group. They are constantly evolving through technical innovation, and they are now at the forefront of providing pioneering, cost effective, construction solutions designed to meet the needs of any construction project.

The Role:

As the Graduate Mechanical / Electrical Engineer, you will be required to

  • Work alongside experienced Engineers on internationally collaborative engineering projects improving plant efficiency, reducing CO2 and driving energy reduction overall.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement activities using appropriate Lean Manufacturing and Quality tools while contributing practical on a daily basis and strategically in our long term plan.

Hours of work:

  • Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30pm, Fri 8am - 4pm
  • 42hrs per week

Requirements:

The successful, Graduate Mechanical/ Engineer will possess the following

  • 2:1 BEng degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics or equivalent and be motivated with a desire to learn.
