The Client: Local Public body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role:

As a member of the Grounds Maintenance Unit the post holder will be required to carry out a wide range of general maintenance and horticultural duties at various locations throughout the City area to include Golf Courses, Public Parks, Cemeteries, sports facilities, playing fields, landscaped areas and open spaces.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Requirements:

• 2 years' employment experience in a horticultural and grounds maintenance environment in at least one of the following areas:
  • Sports pitch maintenance (grass)
  • Cemetery maintenance
  • Golf course maintenance
  • Horticultural maintenance (floral)
• Be physically fit & capable of carrying out wide range of manual tasks
• Full, current driving licence
• Chemical Handling & Application Certificates PA1 & PA6A desirable
• NPTC Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent desirable

Rate of Pay: £11.81 per hour
