An excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S Officer to join an award winning manufacturer based in their Omagh facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager main duties will include;

• Managing the investigation and the recording of incidents
• Performing Company-wide risk assessments
• Ensuring equipment is installed in both a safe and correct manner, with regular ongoing inspections
• Assisting in the claim management process, liaising with both the legal and HR teams
• Creating and maintaining Safe Operational Procedures
• Ensuring adherence to IMS processes and procedures, and all records are compiled as necessary
• Conducting environmental monitoring
• Arranging regular and statutory inspections and audits to assess the standards achieved
• Ensuring Health and Safety training plans are in place for all job roles
• Managing all aspects of budgetary control for Safety

Essential Criteria

• 3 years' experience in a similar position
• NEBOSH certification
• Previous experience of working to ISO 45001:2018 OR 18001
• Previous experience working within the manufacturing industry
