An excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S Officer to join an award winning manufacturer based in their Omagh facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager main duties will include;
- Managing the investigation and the recording of incidents
- Performing Company-wide risk assessments
- Ensuring equipment is installed in both a safe and correct manner, with regular ongoing inspections
- Assisting in the claim management process, liaising with both the legal and HR teams
- Creating and maintaining Safe Operational Procedures
- Ensuring adherence to IMS processes and procedures, and all records are compiled as necessary
- Conducting environmental monitoring
- Arranging regular and statutory inspections and audits to assess the standards achieved
- Ensuring Health and Safety training plans are in place for all job roles
- Managing all aspects of budgetary control for Safety
Essential Criteria
- 3 years' experience in a similar position
- NEBOSH certification
- Previous experience of working to ISO 45001:2018 OR 18001
- Previous experience working within the manufacturing industry
