Health and Safety Officer - Construction
Belfast
Salary up to £35,000 depending on relevant experience
An excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to join a leading fit out company. Reporting to the MD your main duties will include:
- Provide H&S advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees
- Policy setting and implementation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety Legislation
- Conduct H&S inspections and investigations
- Reporting
- Conduct Risk Assessments and follow up action planning
- Auditing - internal and assistance during externa
- Adhere to all health and safety practices
- Delivery on in-house training, booking external training
Essential Criteria
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in a health and safety role
- Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
- Construction background (building trade, electrical or mechanical considered)
