Higher Clerical Officer

Band 3 clerical officer required for a large public sector organisation based through the Belfast Trust.

Salary: £10.40 p/h

Location: Scrabo children's centre

Hours: 22.5hrs per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9-5)

Duration: Ongoing

JOB SUMMARY / MAIN PURPOSE:

This post is working for the Primary Mental Health Team - CAMHS which is part of the Belfast Trust but based in a South Eastern Trust facility using SE Trust systems.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Main duties include - Typing, processing clinic letters, photocopying, booking appointments on scheduler system, dealing with phone calls to the service appropriately, data input and updating client information system. And any other duties appropriate within the band.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  1. 4 GCSEs at grade C or above to include English Language or equivalent qualification and one year's administrative experience.

AND

  1. 1 years' experience in an administration role

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • An ability to meet deadlines, work across various service areas and work under pressure
  • Ability to relate / communicate with operational staff and senior management through all levels of the organisation 4. Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in a changing environment.
