Position Description - HR Advisor
Salary - £35,000 a year
A leading client has a new opening to join the team as an HR Advisor!
Based in Lurgan, you will work closely with the HR Managers to help drive and ensure successful adoption of various HR initiatives, talent strategies, and related. Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: employee relations, employee engagement and retention, performance management, compliance, training, HR Metrics, diversity, data analytics and general administration.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of experience in advising on HR associated matters (grievance, disciplinary, performance management, absence, organisational design).
CIPD Qualification (Level 3).
Understanding of HR legislation and Employment Law.
Demonstratable knowledgeable of UK and Northern Ireland Employment Law.
Experience in provision of HR metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Main duties would include:
Being the first point of contact for MD and HR managers for all HR-related activities.
Oversight of all aspects of the HR life cycle, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with established governance and processes.
Ensuring information flows are managed and communicated across the location in a timely and accurate manner.
Guaranteeing accurate data capture and availability of HR metrics so that this can be proactively utilised and actioned in the process of continuous improvement.
Promoting a good employee relations environment while delivering change effectively, as well as ensuring organisational design and structure is fit for purpose.
Overseeing and supporting production of information required for SOX reporting.
Reporting to the Equality Commission as required in line with external timeframes to ensure compliance.
The guiding principles of HR matters across the HR life cycle and how this should be dealt with.
Identifying proactive opportunities for improvement with HR Manager.
