BELSL / Band 3 HR ASSISTANTS
Rate of Pay: £10.09
Location: FRANKLIN STREET BELFAST
Hours: 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM
Duration: Initially to 30th September 2021 with possible extension
The post holder will be expected to provide support to the recruitment for the PHA Vaccination Programme and Contact Tracing Centre following authorisation from Chief Medical Officer to increase the workforce. The post-holder will be expected to participate as a team member in the provision of a quality Human Resources (HR) service to the Organisation, its staff and our customers. To include ensuring relevant documentation is in place to enable successful candidates to work and get paid appropriately.
Provide high quality routine administrative support to individual sections within HR ensuring the effective operation of systems and procedures.
Assist in the administration and implementation of administrative systems within the different sections within HR.
Manage the administration of the office ensuring a continual high standard of service is provided to all staff, customers, members of the public and suppliers.
Effectively prepare reports, documents and proposals for senior staff within the department as well as supplying advice and assistance as required.
Continually seek to improve the service delivered within the department by committing to attend personal development training, demonstrating a team work ethic and embracing change.
Provide high level service to all stakeholders.
To raise requisitions using the E procurement system and order stock as necessary.
Attend and take notes at meetings as required of the role.
Any other duties as required within the remit of the role
Qualifications & Experience
Five GCSE's (including GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths (Grades A* - C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy OR Higher Qualification OR
18 Months relevant experience*
One year's experience working with Microsoft Office or similar
*Relevant experience is defined as working in an office environment carrying out administrative duties such as filing and word processing.
Previous experience of working in an HR environment
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively to meet the needs of the post in full.
Ability to use own initiative and work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of Project Management, Quality Management frameworks and Improvement Tools.
