An excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to join a leading supplier of specialist products. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the Health and Safety standards of the business.

• Coordinating activities required to meet and maintain ISO 9001 standard
• Ensure that safe practices and procedures are followed by staff
• Manage the systems including maintaining and controlling a proactive site document system, conducting internal audits to measure compliance and identifying areas for improvement
• Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Carrying out regular workplace inspections/audits
• Delivering internal training
• Producing weekly reports
• Accident investigations
• Maintenance of safety registers and other safety related duties.
• Manage and instruct the quality control team - responsible for three quality officers

Essential Criteria

• 3-5 years' experience maintaining & implementing quality systems within a manufacturing environment
• NEBOSH National General Certificate or diploma is highly desirable
• Experience of implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 is essential
• Experience in a manufacturing / production environment
