Staffline is now recruiting for an IT support analyst to join a growing team in a fast paced and exciting retail sector. The department store trades from several locations across the UK and Jersey - each with their own technical requirements and challenges.

Responsibilities for IT Support Analyst:

• Install and configure hardware and software components
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Support & maintenance of central POS and database applications
• Undertake both support and project duties
• Test and evaluate new technology to help the business
• Define software, hardware, and network requirements when necessary.

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field, preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience troubleshooting systems
• Proficient with both Windows and Mac.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Flexible with various IT related roles in a support and project environment
• Previous history working with third party suppliers.
• Full clean drivers' licence with access to a car.
• Must be available to travel to all stores, including Jersey from time to time.
• Must be available to work weekends on occasions when system updates are taking place.

Desirable:

• Experience in database and/or application management.
• Knowledge of networking, server hardware/software and domain management
