Job description

We are delighted to be recruiting on the behalf of one of the largest independent owner/operators of Hotels, Bars, Restaurants and Night Clubs in Ireland. This opportunity is in luxury hotel in Belfast City Centre.

Our client is seeking Sous or Junior Sous Chef and offer a salary between £27,000 - £30,000 per year (dependant on experience). This opportunity allows the successful candidate to work in a top-class restaurant with the potential of huge career progression.

Job role;

  • Overseeing the kitchen when the head chef is not around.
  • Ensuring high culinary standards are met.
  • Keeping the kitchen environment safe and hygienic.
  • Assisting the head chef when it comes to writing menus and creating new recipes.
  • Overseeing the purchasing and storage of food.

Essential criteria;

  • Dedicated, reliable and have a minimum of 1 years' experience.
  • Able to work in a busy kitchen with a talented group of chefs.
