My client, a large advanced composite company based in Ballygowan is looking for a Lead Fabricator on a permanent basis

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a really good company who are quickly expanding

Essential Criteria

• Previous Hand lay up of Glass Reinforced Plastic/Fiber Reinforced Plastic
• Repair of Glass Reinforced Plastic/Fiber Reinforced Plastic
• Assessment of damaged FRP/FRP and ability to implement effective repair
• Use of associated hand tools/grinding/cutting/dust extraction
• Working to H&S standards
• Used to working in full respiratory and overal PPE
• Mixing and preparing materials to ratio and associated cleaning of equipment

Role and Hours

• Working on client site naval ships, glass fibre, hand layup, small repairs and cutting back fractures
• Travel to Appledore 8am Monday travel to site/work afternoon to 16.45
• Tues-Thurs 7.30am-16.45
• Friday 7.30am-11.30am on site. Travel 11.30am-13.30 to Bristal Airport. Fly 13.30 arrving back to site or home 6pm
• Training and induction likely 1 week prior to starting

Salary:

• £13.95/hr
• £25 daily meal allowance
• £150 weekly travel allowance to cover travel on Monday & Friday
• Overtime if required @ 1.5 of hourly rate
• Bed and Breakfast provided
