Job description

Our Client a large organisation require a Learning & Development Co-ordinator for a temporary 8 month assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of the induction programme including

(a) Generation and administration of training records and induction paperwork

(b) Co-ordination of attendance and evaluation of individual induction programmes

  • Provide administrative support to the HRD Business Partners with in-house technical, GMP and tailored training sessions for employees, including co-ordination and recording of attendance, liaising with external trainers, hospitality requirements, all associated paperwork including manuals, attendance sheets and evaluation forms
  • Be responsible for all the administration duties associated with employees attendance at external and internal courses and conferences
  • Assist with the management, co-ordination and administration of organisational development training programmes
  • Be responsible for processing information onto HRD electronic systems
  • Assist in the administration and co-ordination of internal and external schools and universities outreach activities
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices
  • Assist in the compilation and completion of INI training grant claims

Essential Criteria:

  • GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience in an administration role in a busy office environment

  • Experience in collating information and compiling reports

  • Experience of dealing with both internal and external customers using a variety of communication media to include telephone, fax and email

  • Experience organising large company activities, e.g.- lectures, briefings & training sessions
